To feel your core, imagine pulling your navel up and in towards your spine, as if zipping up tight pants. Gently engage your pelvic floor by lifting. You should feel a subtle tension or hollowing sensation in your lower abdomen, not bulging. Practice this by exhaling fully and then trying to maintain that lifted feeling.

Proper core engagement stabilizes your spine, protecting your lower back in various poses. It enhances balance, strength, and the energetic flow throughout your practice, allowing for deeper, safer movements and preventing common injuries.
