Strategic Support: Empower, Don't Enable
Shift from doing for others to guiding them to find their own solutions. Offer advice and resources, but resist taking on their tasks. Encourage independent problem-solving and celebrate their self-won successes. Set clear boundaries on your time and energy.

Over-helping can unintentionally hinder others' growth by preventing them from developing resilience and self-reliance. It often depletes your energy, leading to resentment and burnout. By empowering instead of enabling, you foster true development in others while protecting your capacity to genuinely help where it matters most, cultivating mutual respect and sustainable support for all.

How being nice and helping others comes back to biting us. While "lifting up" people is important, it seems to have the downside of people "expecting" that and taking us for granted while not putting in their effort to become better by learning. In the end, we end up getting affected.
